RH254 - Cashless Catering Account Viewer
Description
The account viewer is designed for use in cashless environments where the user’s data and balance are stored on a central server. The user would swipe their magnetic stripe card or present a contactless card to the front of the viewer, the card number will be read by the viewer and sent to the server via it’s Ethernet connection. The server would then respond with a display message giving the current card balance for that user. The display is under complete control of the server at all times giving maximum flexibility to the system designer. The printed front panel can also be tailored to any application or design.
